BBJ CEO Boardroom Meeting Roundtable, February 22. 2024

The BBJ CEO Boardroom Meeting took place February 22., over breakfast in the beautiful Matild Palace Hotel.

We assemble a high-level panel at each boardroom meeting to discuss the economic themes shaping the Hungarian economy. Previous hot topics have included COVID, the general election, the war in Ukraine, high inflation, tight labor markets and the energy crisis. Given the expertise of our panel, this time we looked at the national economic picture, the national and regional energy set up, and picked at some of the global threads that bind it all together.

Our roundtable speakers were Zsófi Beck, managing director at Boston Consulting Group Budapest, Rezső Rózsai, national senior partner for Hungary at KPMG, and Ákos Janza, managing director, head of enterprise transformation, and global head of offices at MSCI Inc.
